2022.01.19 06:47 Creyke Flat hunting nightmare - rant

My partner and I have been looking for a flat for nearly two weeks now, have taken three days off work to attend dozens of viewings. We've sent in applications immediately after, or sometimes during these viewings, and had no luck at all. We're both students going into postgrad, both have jobs in addition to studylink. But we turn up to a viewing on a pretty substandard place and there are 30+ other people already there, ten minutes early. It feels like a completely different market than just a few years ago. The property managers don't even give tours, they just wave droves of people through the door and scan their vaccine passes. On arrival, a manager today said she had already received half a dozen applications, just ten minutes after the beginning of the first viewing. Hell, and you'd think we'd be the lucky ones too. Well presented, straight, educated, "safe" looking white people. I can't imagine what it's like at the other end of the spectrum.
We've begun to recognize people, as we grimly chase each other from viewing to viewing, just to be rejected again and again. So it seems like we aren't the only ones. So good luck, I guess, to the couple with the two hilarious kids. The old couple I nearly barreled straight into while walking back to the car, submitting yet another tenancy application on my phone. This just sucks.

2022.01.19 06:47 Fara_ven Question regarding movement speed

Hey, i looked around and found that movement speed is capped at 140%. Berserker can easily each that with madness and agility, what about sorceress? With the ignition build i'm supposed to stack specialty then crit but is there anything sorc uses that give movement speed without giving up damage? I'm unfamiliar with all the dozens of other systems. I like sorceress but i'm only lvl 32 in the RU version and feel like i'm crawling and am worried it won't change in the endgame compared to practically everyone else

2022.01.19 06:47 astroman9995 Thinking of getting a 2022 Jimny (Australia)

I've been eyeing the Jimny since it came out and the price rises over the years are what made me hesitant to bite the bullet. I'm in Australia and called a dealer, they quoted $32,500 (AUD) for an auto Jimny which seems like a fair deal (I'll be hoping to negotiate this down if possible). My concern still though is that I'm not sure if the prices will come down in the future. People are selling Jimny's here for over $40k but I'm not sure who is buying them. Do you guys think the prices will stay high for these? I want a Jimny for its functionality but also do like the fact that it has a cult following and people are paying a lot of money for them even if they are used.

2022.01.19 06:47 gemandrailfan94 How to train a kitten from getting into my bed at night?

So I have a three month old (from what I was told) kitten, and I’m having an issue.
I cannot keep her out of my bed at night! She likes to get into really awkward spots while I’m sleeping which interrupts my sleep. Also, I move around a lot when I sleep, and I don’t want to accidentally hurt her.
I live in a studio apartment, so I can’t close my room door or anything. I tried putting her in the bathroom and all she does is yowl. Spraying her with a spray bottle makes her go away for a few minutes, than she comes right back.
I set up a box with towel in it for her to sleep in and that didn’t do anything, even though she tries to play with that same box during the day.
Any ideas on how I can train her to not get into my bed at night? Will it be different once she’s spayed? I know she’s a but afraid of my two year old cat (those two are still establishing the pecking order), so perhaps she thinks I’ll protect her.
Thoughts? Thanks!

2022.01.19 06:47 Tokenomy What You Need for Mining Bitcoin

What You Need for Mining Bitcoin
Bitcoin is growing increasingly popular as a digital currency. Not just cryptocurrency enthusiasts, but even investors in various sectors are starting to be interested in owning Bitcoin as the price continues rising. Furthermore, with the continued advancement of modern technology, owning digital currency assets has become commonplace. Currently, Bitcoin has been accepted as a legal payment asset in several countries.
So if you are interested in owning Bitcoin, how do you acquire it? The easiest way is to buy it on an exchange like Tokenomy, but you can also mine it. Bitcoin is built on a blockchain system processed between thousands of interconnected computers around the world. It is mined by solving very complex mathematical equations in a short time. To do so, you need a powerful computer system to be able to solve these equations faster than other miners. Computer systems require several tools to support Bitcoin mining activities. Here are some Bitcoin mining tools you’ll need to get started!
Hardware For Mining Bitcoin
  • CPU (Central Processing Unit) To mine Bitcoin, it is necessary to have a CPU or Central Processing Unit with a high capacity and quality. It is in this CPU that the solving of mathematical equations is executed, so if the CPU used does not have the right specifications, Bitcoin mining may not work optimally.
  • GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) Some miners have switched to using GPUs, often called Graphics Processing Units, as an alternative to CPUs that can work faster in solving equations in the Bitcoin blockchain system. Basically, a GPU is an alternative hardware to the CPU that has a higher processing speed.
  • FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) Field Programmable Gate Array, or FPGA, is a computer processing system used to mine Bitcoin. FPGA is one of the components that allows mathematical calculations in the blockchain system to run properly and correctly.
  • ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) The high demand for good Bitcoin mining tools has led to the creation of hardware specifically designed for mining cryptocurrencies, such as ASIC or Application Specific Integrated Circuit. ASIC can do mining for free and in large quantities. With an effective mathematical calculation system, this hardware allows for more Bitcoins to be mined. Currently, ASIC is one of the best tools for mining Bitcoin, as evidenced by its widespread use in the global Bitcoin mining competition.
Software for Mining Bitcoin Bitcoin mining requires the right software to support the hardware that you already have. Here are some different mining softwares that you can use to earn Bitcoin.
  1. MultiMiner MultiMiner is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) software developed specifically for Windows 10. It’s also designed to work on Linux as well as MacOS systems, but you’ll need additional apps to do this. This software is designed to help miners join the pool of miners in the blockchain system.
  2. CGMiner CGMiner can be used in any operating system so it is more flexible. This software is more intended for miners who already have a lot of experience in mining Bitcoin because it looks more complex than other software.
  3. EasyMiner If you are a beginner and prefer an easy-to-use interface, then EasyMiner is the right choice. This software is the result of more advanced CGMiner development. In addition, EasyMiner is also very suitable for those interested in solo mining or joining a pool. EasyMiner can also be used to do other AltCoin mining.
  4. BitMiner This software was designed for a specific pool so that the setup process tends to be very fast. You just have to install BitMiner when you are connected to the desired pool to start mining Bitcoins. BitMiner can also be used on any operating system.
  5. BFGMiner Another software for those who have done a lot of Bitcoin mining and want to customize the process is BFGMiner. This software was designed to save electricity costs and can also be used by various pools so that it eliminates need to use other applications.
  6. KryptexMiner KryptexMiner helps its users track the most profitable coins, making it suitable for novice miners. This software can monitor the hash rate and also the profit that each user can get. Withdrawal fees also tend not to be high so it can save costs.
Bitcoin Investment Have you become more interested in Bitcoin mining? It may seem simple, but being a miner requires many resources so the cost is very high. One who lacks expertise runs the risk of great losses.
If you are interested in profiting from Bitcoin and are not ready to become a miner, then you can invest in Bitcoin in an easier way, such as making deposits or trading Bitcoin, both of which you can do on Tokenomy. Besides being practical, Tokenomy is also beginner-friendly because it features a demo account where you can practice trading for free. Joining Tokenomy is easy—just register and go through the identity verification process. What are you waiting for? Start investing on Tokenomy right now!
